SEO for YouTube
SEO for YouTube is much like typical SEO

SEO for YouTube is fundamentally similar to typical SEO. YouTube profiles and video pages have their own content, as well as their own versions of title, keyword, and description tags. These should be filled out with the usual SEO practices in mind.
Your YouTube profile description should certainly describe your company (or yourself), but it doesn’t hurt to include a few target keywords along the way.
Your YouTube Videos also come with Title, Descriptions, and Tags. Make good use of all 3 of these. As always, they should reflect the content of your video. If you are posting a “how to” video, make sure you include this phrase. “How to” videos are highly searched for both on YouTube and search engines.
Link to your YouTube Pages
Link to your YouTube pages where you can. In the above example, the video demonstrates how to install a Banks PDA. In this scenario, you want to link to this page from page describing how to install a Banks PDA. The inbound link will help your ranking.
Have others link to your YouTube Pages
Getting others to link to your pages need not be such a daunting task. You can feel free to email others and letting them know you have useful videos, but why not leverage your resources to have others do at least some of the leg work?
Embed your YouTube video on your site, and offer visitors a free snippet with the embed code they can copy-paste. But in addition to the code needed to embed your video, add an HTML link back to your site within the free snippet. This way, users will embed, not only your YouTube video, but a link to it.
So for example:

Provide your users a free video embed code with your link on it
Add social media tags (ie. Twitter, Digg, Reddit, Delicious, etc) on your video pages. This way our videos can be found on these social media platforms. The more people that know about our video pages, the more they are likely to link to them.
Multi-Channel Marketing
Don’t limit yourself to SEO when marketing yourself on YouTube. You can leverage other mediums like your email campaigns to send people to your YouTube profile or videos. This is a great way to send useful and/or entertaining content to your list (as opposed to emailing solely for the purpose of selling them products/services).
You can also include your video page URL when advertising in print or radio ads. Whether directing people to a page on your site with your video, or your YouTube profile or video page itself, you can use a short domain name (ie. YourDomain.com/Videos) that redirects to this page.
This last bit gets away from direct SEO a bit, but remember, the more people that know about your videos, the more chances you will have for back links.
