SEOracle.com – An Introduction

My SEO experience began with www.mediamoogle.com, a watchdog website I created to inform prospective Pre-Paid Legal (a multi-level marketing company) associates on the pros and cons of the ‘opportunity.’
Applying what I had learned from reading SiteProNews articles every chance I got, the site was ranked 2nd for the phrase Pre-Paid Legal within 7 months. In addition to angering many Pre-Paid Legal reps (see archive of angry emails here), I developed a passion for and a belief in the power of SEO, and its role in the marketplace of ideas. Furthermore, I learned the importance of using target keywords in your anchor text when creating inbound links (for example, Pre-Paid Legal).
In 2005 I got a job in the automotive aftermarket industry, focusing entirely on the online marketing aspect of web. While I affect several online marketing channels here, most of my time and energy with my current employer, 4 Wheel Parts (a great place for lift kits, jeep and truck tires, winches, and a plethora of other highly search industry-related keywords I’d like to shamelessly plug in here), is geared towards Search engine optimization. I am also a contributing writer on KevinRourke.com.
